Spooky 'Emergo' sells to major areas

Gregoire Melin's Kinology has folded out major territory sales on "Emergo," the most recent genre pic from Rodrigo Cortes and Adrian Guerra, they behind "Hidden" and "Red-colored Lights." Closing with topnotch marketers, "Emergo" has offered to Alliance for U.K. and Canada, Universum in Germany and Australia's Hopscotch Films off an initial screening in the American Film Market. Toplining Kai Lennox and Michael O'Keefe, "Emergo" is to establish at Guerra's new Barcelona-based production label Nostromo Pictures.Its makers acknowledge a debt to "The Blair Witch Project" and "Rec."
