A U.S. purchase has become within the works.Compiled by Cortes, and also the feature directorial debut of award-winning Catalan shorts helmer Carles Torrens, the British-language "Emergo" activates a team of high-tech parapsychologists who investigate mysterious phenomena within an old, eerie house. Toplining Kai Lennox and Michael O'Keefe, "Emergo" is to establish at Guerra's new Barcelona-based production label Nostromo Pictures. Its makers acknowledge a debt to "The Blair Witch Project" and "Rec."
